At Last...I'm in Pictures!

Well, not me, but my knitting! I have a picture of my Interlacements Charlotte's Web shawl, and my yummy cashmere Jojoland Leaf Lace shawl, and my blue socks. I couldn't find Bec's red socks to take a picture, so I guess they will go unpictured. How sad.

On the needles: the first of a pair of socks in a cool heathery green-gray-blue striped colorway, and back on the needles is the Sigridur shawl from "Three-Cornered and Long Shawls". I have been coveting this shawl for more than five years now. I think I may be able to do it this time.

Long Absence!

Wow-I haven't posted in forever, but I've done quite a bit of knitting. Since my last post, I have finished two pairs of fingerless gloves, Becca's Rogue pullover, and a Charlotte's Web shawl knit from Interlacements Twinkle Toes yarn. I want to post some pics; maybe I can get that done this weekend.

I am currently working on a Leaf Lace Shawl from some gorgeous light green cashmere; it is beautiful. Lace evidently becomes better with some practice. Maybe someday I'll be able to finish the Icelandic shawl I've been coveting since forever.

The Very First Sheep

We all gotta start somewhere. And I choose here.

I want a place to keep track of my knitting stuff, and a place to put the stuff I want to keep from other knitters' blogs. This seems like a good idea, and this a good place.

So here we are.

Currently on the needles: Rogue, from girlfromauntie.com, body and hood done, now stranded on Sleeve Island 1.

Waiting in the wings: Christmas gifts for girls at work, Charlotte's Web shawl, Summer Braids cardigan for me.
